The range of products we offer are caught with a traditional handline for a low impact fishing. This means one fisherman will only catch one fish at a time to ensure there is no overfishing in the area. We explicitly discourage the use of trawls as they not only harm the marine ecosystem, but also jeopardise the population of local fishes.
To further inspire the local communities of sustainable fishing practices, we’ve adopted a strict criteria for selecting their catch so that fishes below the specified weight limit or deemed immature are returned to the sea to maintain healthy population levels.
Our efforts don’t just end there—we also ensure that our process is also sustainable from end-to-end, and that includes our waste management. We’ve partnered with local recycling centres to process our waste in an environmentally responsible manner.
