Gold Band snapper, also known as tropical snapper, is a type of deep water fish that inhabits both tropical and sub-tropical waters, such as the Java and Bali Sea from Indonesia. Though it has a slightly firmer texture than red snapper, the flash remains flaky, moist and flavourful. Gold band snapper tastes good with a delicate base of soy sauce, teriyaki or even simply roasted with classic seasonings.
